Crossroads Dance Indy returns to the IndyFringe Festival stage for its 10th season with Perfect Ten!, a powerful performance celebrating a decade of dance.
This milestone production features a variety of styles, each inspired by the number ten. Choreographers explore creative interpretations ranging from the history of the dime to the tenth tarot card. Dancers reflect on the past, including what it felt like to be ten years old, while also imagining where life might lead ten years into the future.

The program blends literal and abstract concepts, including nods to “Number 10” by Jackson Pollock and playful references to Cinderella’s “Ten Minutes Ago.” Music and movement are shaped by the number itself, with choreography structured through counts, groupings, and formations that highlight symmetry and balance. Audience members may also feel a sense of nostalgia as Crossroads Dance Indy takes a trip down memory lane, counting down the top ten dances from the past decade.
